A decade of reading rooms
Since 2013, Dhhara Sooni has been walking into homes and workplaces across four continents and reading what no designer or therapist was seeing: the quiet argument between a space and the people inside it. The bedroom that never let anyone rest. The office where every deal stalled at the same stage. The house that felt heavier than it looked.
Her clients — in the USA, UK, India, Canada, Australia, and UAE — usually arrive the same way: something in life has stuck, and everything obvious has already been tried. Dhhara starts with the floor plan. Sixteen directions, five elements, and the birth numbers of the people who live there. Then she prescribes — never demolition, always sequence: this correction first, then this one, then follow-up until the results hold.
What sets her apart is the second identity she carries into every consultation. Dhhara is a practitioner-scholar: a published peer-reviewed researcher and a PhD candidate in Vastu with Interior Design at Shree Maharshi College of Vedic Astrology, Udaipur, based in Princeton, NJ. The tradition is ancient; her standard of evidence is not.

The Rootwell Design Framework, in client terms: it works in three layers. First, the ancient root intelligence — the five-element (Panchamahabhuta) logic that classical Vastu is built on. Second, a six-step process that turns that logic into a repeatable reading of any floor plan. Third, five life-domain outcomes — the areas of career, health, relationships, finances, and growth where corrections are aimed and results are tracked. Every correction is non-demolition. It is not a belief system — a systematic methodology.
Dhhara is a PhD candidate in Vastu with Interior Design; the framework is the core of her doctoral work. A second publication is forthcoming, 2026.
